Apport Mobile

Apport Mobile takes over when the WMS system gives up.

Our system give a truck driver the opportunity to scan the goods/pallets while in his truck via a handheld PDA.

If wanted the driver can be guided by GPS to the first delivery address. GPS coordinates are logged and the driver will get a confirmation that he/she is at the correct address.

Already before the driver arrives at the customer you have the opportunity to send a text message or an email regarding expected time of arrival. This insures an optimal service towards the customer.

At the delivery address the driver can verify that the ordered goods are delivered and he can verify this via pictures, barcodes or a signature from the receiver.

Furthermore there are a long range of functions to collect data which could be interesting both at the time of delivery but also concerning future deliveries.

At headquarters you can follow the drivers route and at all times you will have the possibility to see how far he has got and what has happened on route.

It is also possible to add or erase/delete tasks, to sent messages etc. This will be updated immediately on the drivers handheld PDA.

During the daily tasks the driver can re-organize and make changes if necessary.

This insures flexibility in the daily work.

Everything is in details logged into Apport Mobile and these reports are therefore a very strong management tool.
